Histoire & maquettisme is a French magazine devoted to small scale models , the publication of which was interrupted in June 2003
Subtitled Review of the Static Miniature , History & Modeling is for model makers and military history through scale models.
The first issue of the bimonthly publication proposed for 32.00 F published by the Heimdal editions of Bayeux of March 1989. The director of the publication is called Georges Bernage, the editor is Yves Buffetaut while the editorial board is composed Georges Bernage, Yves Buffetaut, José Fernandez and Vincent Gréciet. The illustrators are Hubert Cance and Lionel Labeyrie, assisted by an editing secretary and cartoonist Jean-Pierre Dupont 1 .
A new formula appears with the n o 65 dated December 1999, which is a special issue on the Normandy landings of 6 June 1944. The number of pages has increased to 80 full-color 2 .
The last copy received under the legal deposit is n o 79 of June to August 2003 3 .
