The palace of the miniature and diorama is a museum located near Rocamadour located in the village of Calès ( Lot ) in a royal post office from 1682.
This is one of the largest collections of figurines miniatures in France (18 dioramas depicting scenes of life in the xviii th and xix th centuries.
The scenes appear as dioramas, where thousands of figurines coexist. They are represented in sets in three dimensions. Each figure is unique, 54 mm high (International Standard collection 1/32 scale e ).
In 2010, the museum celebrates its 30 years of activity and receives the label ” Entreprise du patrimoine vivant ” 1 , which distinguishes the craftsmanship and industrial excellence.
